I love this pic. It's too adorable. I love the flower in her hair.

At my going away dinner.

I agree about texture, density, etc. changing the look, but the process is universal.
I use a boards hair brush and some type of gel. Brush it back and tie with a scarf as I get ready. When I'm ready to walk out of the door, I take it off and I'm good.

Song of Serenity I want a puff like yours! What do YOU do exactly? What are you using to hold your hair back? On You Tube I saw a lady with an industrial sized rubber band. I wouldn't even know where you'd get something like that. She wrapped that sucker around her head twice!

Beautiful ladies!!

Sidenote: Has anyone else noticed that puffs look great on everyone - no matter the hair type, texture, density, etc.? Put that hair in a puff and it's a showstopper.

They just look fabulous on everybody......:rosebud:

Keep 'em comin'!!!

Thank you, robot!

I believe everyone's hair can be slicked back and held in place with the scarf method to lay it down (usually while damp, doesn't have to be sopping wet) no matter the curl pattern or texture!

It may not LOOK shiny as their are and may just be full of sheen but it will lay flat! But if your hair texture and type isn't one that reflects light that way, it won't look "like theirs"

Different products give different results, too!

Yea i use that too (the scarf method) but after awhile my hair is back to doing whateva the hell it wants to do lol. Anyway, i think i will try the wax n i also don't have a boar brush :perplexed so i know that plays a factor as well

I have noticed that and I must say, there is some pretty hair in this thread. :yep: Although I'm relaxed, when I airdry/do braidouts a big juicy puff is my go-to style. Some of my co-workers seem fascinated by my hair in that state. One of them refers to it as my coco puff. Embrace the puff! :lachen:

Lovely hair, ladies!

I agree about slicking down edges on damp hair. I always have to slightly dampen with water or Scurl is even better and then apply gel, then scarf. Scurl makes my waves more defined and shiney. Works like a charm.

here's some of mines:
