Are you using the short single prong? short double prong? or duck bill? I have the short double prong but sometimes the roller is loose and my hair falls out on the sides. I am not sure if I am using the wrong clip or if I am placing the clip on the wrong place. Do you put the clip on the roller only or so you clip the roller to your scalp?

i use these

I use a combination of duckbill and double prong. The single prongs are more for pin curl sets....they aren't gonna hold a roller very secure.

When placing the clip you want to make sure the clip is anchored to some hair so it will hold. Insert the bottom of the clip under the roller making sure to include some hair that is under the roller as well....that will be you anchor. To make things extra secure place another clip on the other side of the roller.

I use the invisible clips posted above as well. I find I need all three for different placement purposes.

I use the double prong clips... and I agree with Pokahontas, you have to make sure you're anchoring the clip on your hair at the base of the roller so that it will stay on your head.
