LOL, well not really a long hair festival, but if you need hair porn, the DVD is 8 hours of sheer heaven. 
I don't know if anyone here is familiar with hula, but every year Hilo, HI has the "Hula Superbowl" (real name: Merrie Monarch Festival), where the best Hula groups compete for the stop spot. Now long hair for women is a part of the hula tradition. In fact, some schools forbid their members to ever cut their hair. I know the being Pacific Islander and Asian makes it a lot easier to grown long luxurious hair, but we can dream can't we? Girls, I've never seen so many long haired women in my life! Uggg. So.
