I decided to flatiron my hair for my bday on tuesday. I did this on friday instead of sunday like I planned b/c I was off from work due to the storm. I don't have any makeup on and I was really tired after. It took me from start to finish about 6 hours (including washing, deep conditioning both protein and moistuizing, partially airdrying, blowdrying and flatironing)
For the past month, I have been wearing my hair in braids and covering it up with a hat and mostly likely after two weeks I am going back to that. I don't care if i look like a bum lol. I can get away with wearing hat at work luckily.

My last relaxer was in dec. 2007 and my hair thinned out horribly so i chose to wear braids and weaves to grow out my hair and to relaxer again but in june 2008 after taking out my weave, i did not detangle my hair properly and washed my hair which led into the huge knots in my hair so i cut my hair (my bc). i had maybe 2-3 inches new growth and went to get my hair braided. I have been either braiding or weaving my hair since then and cutting away the last bit of relaxes ends.

Love It! What tools and products did you use to achieve your straight style?

I first as my leave-in giovanni smooth as silk deeper moisture (just a little) and with infusium moistologie(sp) with water along with the chi silk infusion. I let it air dry about 60-70% then blowdry. I use the sedu 1.5 inch along with got2b straight for coarse hair to flatiron and after a little bit of shea butter after cross wrap.
