Can you French braid your own hair?

I don't know how and I'm having the hardest time learning. I've learned how to do things much more complicated so I'm a bit pissed that I can't figure this out

I can, but it does take some practice. Your hair will look will pretty in a french braid.

My Colombian friend begged me to learn so I could do her hair. It took me a long time to get my fingers to do them, because I'm so used to cornrowing which is the opposite direction. I was on YouTube for months and constantly gave up trying lol I finally learned though and now I love doing them in my own hair.

yup. I usually pull the front up into a cute clip then braid everything back.

I can french braid . I do it every night for wearing under my half wig. Cornrows I find a little harder, but I guess I just need practice at those.

I can do cornrows and other brads just fine. But never can seem to get the hang of french braiding.

Yes, I began braiding my own hair at about 7. I practiced quite a bit on doll heads until I perfected it.

In high school, my dance team would wear french braids on game days so we all had the same hairstyle. I got sick and tired of bothering my mom to do it so I started doing them myself. I was horrible at first but forced myself to get better bc no way was I going to school looking a HAM.

Anyway, I still want to learn how to braid where the french braid sits on top of the hair...

I learned to french braid when I was a pre-teen since my older sister never liked to cornrow my hair for me. That's about all I can do. I can't cornrow or braid to save my life.

I can but it takes forever for me to get it done. Mine always seem to curve a lil bit so I have to go slow to get it straight. I can also cornrow but that too takes some time.

Yes, I can french braid my own hair. My grandmother taught me when I was a little girl. I use to practice on my doll. Now I can't cornrow to save my life. It's like my brain can't switch up.

I can plait, cornrow twist and pretty much everything else, but the inwards french braid is the only thing that I truly suck at. Like others I can only do the outward french braid and I really don't care for the way that looks.

I'm going to start practicing it though because it is a beautiful protective style if you tuck the ends under.
