So i found a lot on ebay for 12 boxes of 2009 Jamila Henna! It was 50 bucks! I couldn't pass that up.

Now maybe right now wasn't the best time for me to buy it considering i just quit my job but you would have done it too!:fan:

I don't regret it at all though....

Wat are some spontaneous splurges you have made?

Have you tried this Henna before? I am tempted to buy a box online. how does the colour turn out on you?

I made a spontaneous purchase this morning. $70 in products. I lived in the DMV for a while and got hooked on Dominican products. I've really missed them and I just couldn't take it anymore, so this morning I purchased....

1. Lacio Lacio leave-in
2. Silicon Mix leave-in
3. Silicon Mix moisturizing shampoo
4. Miss Keys 10 en 1 shampoo
5. Silicon Mix DC
6. Alter Ego DC
7. Moroccan Oil (small bottle) - this was the real splurge!

I also bought $33 in combs/brushes.

I don't feel bad about it because I'm using my income tax refund and I have a new part-time job. I put 95% of my refund safely away in savings. My hair needs to be pampered.

my splurges r never a surprise...i stalk out products months in advance and when the price/time seems right, i pounce :yep:

Yea i have. That's exactly why i bought it. I don't use it for the color as much as i use it for the conditioning properties and its ability to loosen the curl pattern and the way it defines my hair is like a dream..

I only wanted to buy a tub of deep conditioner from sally'san and ended up spending over $50 to qualify for free shipping :giggle:
-silk elements megasilk moisturizing treatment
-silk elements megacholesterol
-elasta qp fortifying treatment
-roux porosity control
-fhi hot sauce
-mane n tail detangler
-denman brush

And I'm not ashamed!

Well I joined the site and within hours of reading I "needed" a steamer, not a table top but a stand up one ( thanks to Cream Tee's good reviews) it is one purchase I am glad to make, it is cheaper than salon visits.

I have spent a little on hair products mentioned here, but really I dont care if I spend a few pounds if it helps my hair in some way, my hair has been missing some TLC for years!!

How often do you henna and is it a full application or just your new growth?

My last spontatneous purchase was getting curlformers but it works for me because that's the only type of rollers that can do anything to my hair. They don't last long as all though but I just have to find a proper setting lotion I suppose.

Well i am going to start doing it every 3 weeks. I have only done it once but i LOVED it. That's what prompted me to buy the 12 boxes. I do the full application also. Im natural so to be honest with u, i never know where new growth stops and where it ends.
