Hello ladies! I am brand new to this site and I have already gained so much useful information! Since I can remember I had relaxed hair and a year ago (Feb 2009) I did a spur of the moment BC because I wanted to embrace my natural texture (I def DID NOT need to BC because I relaxed and bleached at the same time or anything...:wallbash:) I know NOW that that was so stupid of me and my hairdresser

Anywho, I am au naturel now and I can't figure out my hair type so I get confused on what products I should be buying and whatnot! You're help is appreciated!

Thanks Ladies!

You look like a 3C/4A to me; be reminded, however, that just because a product works for someone with a similar hairtype, this is no guarentee that it will work for you. Trial and error will lead to better product finds, IMO.

That said, welcome! Your hair's very pretty, btw.

Lovely hair!!! I'll agree with the ladies above (even though I still have no idea of my hair type...hmmm) Welcome to the forum!!!

:thankyou: I appreciate all the love!
I'm officially claiming 3c/4a!
I will definitely be doing some trial and error because my natural hair does not like all the things my relaxed hair did. I think I'm going to shoot for using all natural products and see how that goes.

Thanks Everyone!

It's actually weird because when I first BC I had a big patch on the left side of my hair where it would NOT curl for anything (you can see the waves in one of the pics) I thought I'd have to deal with that forever but now I realized that my texture changed, it actually curls:grin:
