I was just reading that banana makes your hair soft. Has anyone tried this?

Bananas are a great source of protien. I remeber an hour before every cross country met in high school our coach would make us eat a banana! lol
As someone who once had to pick little banana chunks outta her hair, I'd say go with the baby food!
Uh, banana's have virtually no protein in them. They are however, an excellent source of potassium, which helps reduce cramping and muscle stress, and I suspect that's why your coach made you eat them. A quick shot of carbs to fuel you during the race, and a little extra potassium to ease the after-race soreness.
One warning on the baby food, keep it away from children. I had to fight my kids for it, they wanted to eat it! Imagine the nerve![]()

Yes. The Carmel Treat has bananna... =) I did not like the baby food - but - to each his own. I have found bananna seeds up to a week later......lol
Yes I have. Suburbanbushbabe, gave me a great idea of using BABY FOOD banana instead of chunks of banana that is mixed in the blender. I've read so many horror stories of people having a hard time getting chunks of bananas and avocados out of their hair LOL Baby food type of pureed bananas is much easier to mix and apply to your hair. HTH!
What is this "caramel treat?"
I bought my baby food banana for my DC this coming weekend. I think I'm going to add it to honey, AOHSR and CON.
ETA: I mixed up just what I said plus some castor oil and porosity control. Ya'll will hear from me Sunday or Monday.
I have and I like the result. My hair seemed fluffier. My recipe was one banana, a little yogurt, and avocado oil. I blended it in my magic bullet until it was liquid and put it on my dry hair before washing it. I only lathered up once and I didn't have any problem with banana bits in my hair.
I love making my own hair products and this is a keeper.
