Hit: Still looking, I'm new to LHCF so I'm hopeful in finding my dream conditioner/moisturizer!!

Miss: Carol Daughters Black Vanilla Smoothie Conditioner/Shampoo.

Left my hair dry and brittle, even after adding EVOO to it. I tried it 3 different times as a DC all with the same bad results :(

I tried the Black Vanilla leave-in and wow that was something terrible. That made my hair hard. I will never use those products again. Big Fat Miss! :nono:

Continuous Hit:
Elucence MB Conditioner
Love this conditioner :yep:

Miss:
Taliah Waajid Protective Mist Bodifier

I know this is a favorite of a lot of you ladies on this board, but this just didn't work out for me. This dried my hair out no matter what I did. :nono:

Hits:

S-curl No Drip spray
Coconut/ Emu oil mix
Kids Organics Shea Butter Moisturizer (I'm absolutely loving this!!)

Hit- sof'nfree curl activator lotion. Castor oil and peppermint oil on my scalp.
Miss- using hard core protein on my transitioning hair.

Still hitting: Aussie Moist cond. it's now my staple conditioner
Also a hit, using GVP Silk Remedy as a leave-in on damp hair. A new hit for me is putting a towel over freshly co-washed hair then applying leave-in, instead of applying it to soaked hair.

Hits:

Design Essentials Wave by Design 2 n 1: leaves my new growth moisturized
Design Essentials Wave by Design Mist: great for baggying or moisturizing new growth

Miss

Giovanni Direct Leave In: I tried it twice, this time on freshly washed hair. My new growth has never been more dry, tangled, or matted. I used it liberally the first time and sparingly the second time. Didn't work either way. I ended up giving it to my husband.

HIT: No hits to report at this moment.

MISS: Switching Jamila Henna for my usual Karishma...UGH! Doesn't even compare!

Miss: Mixing two fail conditioners together and some oil thinking I can salvage the purchase = big failure. (Neutrogena triple moisture recovery hair mask+ Suave Coconut conditioner (which isn't thaat bad))

I never done this before, always mix the best with the best.

Ladies if the product sucks, toss that ish or pass it on :lachen:

Hit: Coconut oil
Honestly I don't know why i stopped for a few months.

:nono: Starting to worry if I have low hair IQ! Why I do the things i do

I completely agree! That's why I could never be a part of the "Use Up Your Stash" Challenge. If a product doesn't work for my hair, it must go. I'm not going to mess up my hair trying to make a product work. The product is supposed to work for my hair; I'm not supposed to have to work the product.
