I use it about every other wash. I'm kind of stuck in the middle. Idk if I like using it alone or with a rinse conditioner like vo5 or suave. It Lind of leaves my hair stripped. Like I just dc with keracare humecto and applied it afterwards as a final rinse. Afterwards it didn't have as much slip. But I was able to detangle easier and my hair was less frizzy after blowdrying.

My hair reacts to Mendex as a serious hardcore protein treatment. I used PC con and a moisturizing DC after and my hair still felt very strong. This is something I will only use as needed but I highly recommend for those who color their hair.

Thats why I'm trying to figure out if I should use it in a mixture of something.

I use them both separately. I use mendex once a week on wed.
PC once a week on Sun as a final rinse after my DC

OK so am I. And Florida is pretty humid like hottexas. So, maybe it's a good idea to try it out.

I think it depends on how protein sensitive you are. I would def say start off mixing it with a moisture DC or leave in on for less time with no heat first, because for me I was completely floored at how strong it was. I used it for ten minutes with heat and like I said even after using a moisture DC my hair was still stooopid skrong lol

*the bottle says you can use without heat for less time and for damaged hair to use with heat for 10 minutes.
