Roux Mendex?? Yay or Nay

Hey ladies. As I was doing my normal PJ rounds at Sally's...I came across the Roux Mendex. It promises to help stop breakage and "mend" split ends. I have used and loved the Roux porosity and am interested in seeing what you ladies think of the Mendex.

Also, if you do use it, how do you use it? Do you use it with the Porosity Control?

I used it last night and my hair is doing much better. I think I over did it with the protein which was causing my hair to break. I used a clarifying shampoo, DC with Lekair Cholesterol for 45min under my hooded dryer, condish with Porosity Control then added Mendex along with my Garnier Fructis leave in. Absolutely no more breakage. All the hairs that came out after had the bulb on it so I know it's normal (minimal) shedding. So YAY for me.

I haven't used it, but I've read nothing but rave reviews for it. Roux makes great products. I'm in love with Porosity Control poo, con and Fermodyl

Oh that's okay iNicola...I am seriously considering the Fermodyl too. That may just have to make it to my stash.

Bumping to see if anyone else can give me some reviews on it...

I also Love the Roux Products. I have Mendex in my stash, but have not used it yet.

However, I am expecting it to perform just like or similar to Nexxus Emergencee or the Joico K-Pak. At least, those are the results I am expecting from this product and I know it will Deliver.

It's funny you made this thread because for the first time I noticed it today, bought it and now have it in my hair at this minute.

I'll be washing it out in a few and will let you know how everything turns out overall.

Nay. Split ends cannot be mended.

This is one of my staples. I like it but it has no slip I have to mix it with other conditions to get the slip that I want but it is a very good product.

I used the mendex and porosity. My hair is soooo damaged that the only thing to help is cutting the damage.

I believe that it helped strengthen my weak strands until I cut out all of the damage.

Mendex is good. Myself and my aunts have been using this for as long as I can remember to give hair a lil special treatment. It really helps on strengthening the hair.

It's a good treatment, it will really help you work out protein/moisture balance issues.
