Has anyone ever heard of or used this hair dryer? The technology looks interesting. It’s in the same price range as the Dyson.

Nature inspired LightCare™ technology uses light to precisely dry water on the surface of the hair and helps maintain hair moisture, keeping hair shiny, strong and silky smooth.

+38% Shinier Hair

+17% Smoother Hair

+57% Longer Color Retention

+9% Stronger Hair

Nature Inspired Technology

"Think of it like natural dry of your hair on a walk outside, but at a much faster rate."

Instead of using extremely hot air like a traditional dryer, Zuvi Halo is inspired from the natural evaporation by sunshine and wind.

LightCare™, backed by over 160 patents globally, uses light and cooler air to dry your hair, natural and comfortable, while maintaining fast drying speed.

It uses infrared light energy to precisely dry the water on the hair surface, while leaving the internal cortex healthier, with 109% more hydrated compared to using overheated air from traditional hair dryers.

Healthy Hair Cortex without Over Drying

Over-drying compromises the hair cortex integrity, leads to split ends and breakage. The Zuvi Halo enables more hydration, which protects the cortex and the cuticles. This shields the cortex from external damage and results in a healthier and stronger hair strand.

Zuvi is having their Black Friday sale & the dryer is on sale for $279. They also have a discount for professionals. I'm trying to upload my cosmetology license on the website but I'm having issues. I will contact them.

Bumping for @Napp

I see that you bought the Zuvi dryer and said that you love it for wash & go’s. Can you tell me more about how it’s comparing to other dryers? Have you used it for straightening your hair using a brush? It’s on sale right now for 40% off and I would like to hear from someone with my type of hair. Thanks!

If the technology lives up to what it is supposed to do then this could very well be a nice blow dryer. Unfortunately, it doesn't come with a comb or brush attachment and I am not sure my universal comb attachment would fit it. I will still keep this blow dryer in mind because I do want a new one.

Yeah I wish it came with a comb/brush attachment. Zuvi actually reached out to me about a year ago because I have my cosmetology license and wanted my input about future products. I was scheduled to talk to someone but then they canceled the meeting & never rescheduled. I was gonna tell about making more attachments for Afro textured hair.

Aw it would have been good if you were able to give your input. Too bad they canceled. It still seems to have the potential to be a good blow dryer but I would like to read some reviews about it. I haven't seen anything about it except on this site and it isn't much.

Yes I’m trying to find more reviews also. This 40% off Black Friday sale is the best I’ve seen so far. Even with my license I was only gonna get 25% off a few years ago. I never like how my hair feels after blow drying. It always feels a little dried out. I prefer roller sets. But my natural hair never lays smooth on a roller like it did when I was texlaxed. My hair doesn’t feel super dried out with the Revair, but I still prefer the way my hair feels after a roller set.

I really like it. I haven’t picked up my Dyson since I got the zuvi.

It doesn’t get hot just very warm. It dries my hair pretty fast as well. The hair feels less crispy feeling than a traditional dryer. I recently used it to straighten my hair and my hair was so soft after a blow dry. Also I didn’t have little pieces of hair all over. Although it was smooth it wasn’t as straight if I used a regular dryer but straight enough to be sleek in 2 passed of the flat iron.

I hope that helps!

ETA: L’Oréal has made a new professional air light dryer that is available on salon centric which is supposed to be even better. I’m ok with what I have now but I might put some coin away every week to try the professional dryer in the future.

I used the dryer today. It’s very lightweight and it’s pretty quiet. I used a combination of the tension method and an Aveda paddle brush. It dries the hair fast. My hair didn’t feel dried out. I do want to try it with some different heat protectants & leave-ins. So far I like it.
