So, did you use the booster in the strand test? Do you think that's what contributed to knocking off the dark color from the strands?

I have the Honey Blonde at home, but I use it on my mom's hair and she's not ready for a color touch-up yet. I used the Bronze on her, but it didn't have any punch to it, compared to the HB. Once I open the box of HB for her, I'm going to save a little and do my own strand test with it to see if it's strong enough to lift my hair up to the color I wear. It's much healthier than letting the stylists do it because the stylists pour more booster in it than the packet that T&T gives you.

I thought I was bad when I was sitting in my room experimenting with bleach powder and lightening activator!

I did use the booster in the strand test - yes. And I DEFINITELY know it's booster that caused the lift because I used one the first time I ever colored my last go round after several other tries and it didn't work and I dod the same again this time. All the strand tests I do without a bosster failed. This was the only time I got any noticable lift and it was the PERFECT shade. It's definitely going to matter what the base color is (as well as the natural color), because I think my results would have been lighter if my hair wasn't already so dark. It's not the same result I got with Lightest Blond before. And even thought I've used T&T Bronze I used that OVER the previous Lightest Blond results. I also noticed that most people who used T&T Bronze got slightly darker results than I (when I saw Kisz hair I was very mad that mine didn't come out like hers, but I had highlights AND Lightest Blond underneath my Bronze so....) so my results last time around were very much all over the place.
