Meet a natural who practices extreme low manipulation. And get this...she doesnt moisturize often, she rather just oils her hair and ends...She claims water based moisturizers matts her hair when applied to her whole head. I now want try her method of making her twistout last for two weeks:grin:.

What do you think

hmm I say where have you been she's been the hot topic on the site for the last day or so... the heat training video...remember?
I hope the response will be positive this time without the hairtyping drama!

Elle I was waiting for you.. because it's not a party without you... don't leave we can start where we left off in the other thread :lachen:just copy and paste your posts...

No ma'am I'm not saying a darn thing! I'm going to spend my last hours on Earth not dealing with internetz tomfoolery, lol!

Instead of worry about Haircrush's hair, you should be looking for a last day on earth party, or do something you really want to do until the world end!

The bolded has been my experience, too. I moisturize just once after washing (once a week) and maybe once again mid-week. The rest of the time, I use oil.

When she says moisturize does she mean with just water or with a cream/butter? I have noticed that creams/butters will cause my hair to tangle so now I just spray water and use oil every 3 or so days. Keeps the hair nice and soft. :lick:

Alright alright, I'll bite:drowning:...* sighs* well OP since I was relatively quiet on the last thread about Chime, I would love to leave twist in (or any style for that matter) for two weeks. But I often just use coconut oil to moisturize/lubricate (whatever) my ends anyway so that wouldn't be hard for me. It makes my hair way soft. She does say that she will rewet, reapply LIC and retwist parts of her hair here and there as needed, which I'm sure helps. But me, I start getting the itchy scalp and get to Jonesing to wash after a week.

just when the other thread was quieting down...

yeah Chime's hair is beautiful bla bla bla. Can we get back to the real subject here... The real issue... a matter of life and death... A matter so important, I can no longer ignore it..... the above gif...:lachen::lachen::lachen:
I'm dead now but I will resurrect...7 weeks after Easter!

I think her hair is absolutely stunning! Old school folk say that the best thing to do to your hair is leave it alone!! I totally agree with them. When I practice low mani technique, my hair grows great!!! I don't see why she would lie, so I believe her!
