Youth event ideas

Hello ladies, I am a youth mentor and I will be leading the meeting in two weeks. I would like to talk about Christian courtship and marriage. I thought I would invite one or two couples and have them tell us how they met etc. I am looking for ideas on how to organize the day for the most fun and best impact. I am praying that the spirit of God will fill the day. So if you ladies have any ideas I'd love to hear it. Someone suggested doing a sort of jeopardy and have the couples answer questions.

Hi ajoke... all the best with organizing this event...how about a sort of not-so-newlywed game where the couples answer questions or maybe a game where you quiz the couples on Couples of the Bible... you describe the situation/scenario that involves the couple, they guess who the man/woman is..just a thought/suggestion ...

Christian courtship and marriage -
I am so happy to hear that this is your theme - Lord knows it is needed. I love Laelas idea... sounds like a lot of fun! If something else comes to mind I will share it.

I have a video of my husband and I teaching on this subject somewhere... If I can dig it up and I don't look too fat I will share it with you.

This is a wonderful event that you are planning. I just wanted to post my support of prayers and encouragement for you.

The ladies above have posted wonderful suggestions. I can't think of anything better.

The Holy Spirit will most definitely lead and guide you. God loves our youth and He loves marriage. What a wonderful and joyful combination you are bringing together.

It is most definitely, 'No Joke'. It's anointed and appointed by God's heart.

One idea would be the husbands and wives 'imitating' each other, sharing their most funny family moments together. Also having the men share Words of encouragement for the young men there. They need to see strong male figures who are successful and love God.
