Your Turn: SHOW OFF YOUR BOX BRAIDS!!

I want to see your box braids pics if you have some, of your hair whether it's natural, relaxed, texlaxed or other!!! Please post a pic in this link or you can post a link to your album, what is your take down regimen? How long do you leave them in for? Do you wash them while there in? I have another post where I posted 4 pics, but I'll post one here just because

hi steph, i did my first and only ones in July.

my intentions were to keep them in for 2 weeks, unfortunately i only made 4 days - but did had a bangin braid-out LOL.

I kept them in for 2 weeks, I washed and deep conditioned them once a week and I cowashed every other day. Before I take them down I just spray the hair down with braid spray or S Curl and use my fingers.

LYNNIE, girl those box braids are LOVELY, your hair is sooo thick....how long did it take you to do them? That braidout was too GORGEOUS, I hope mine looks half as good!!!!

PRETTY!!!! yours came out reallly good too, where they hard to take down, I am kinda scared to wash mine, I'm thinking they may mat together, I already hate taking down braid extentions, maybe this will be different since it's my own hair.. I'm trying to make this as painless as possible when it's time to release them .

my box braids are in my siggy. I loved them. I kept them in for close to 4 weeks! They were a little fuzzy towards the end but they didn't look that bad!
The take down wasn't as bad as putting them in but it took me a couple of hours. I just put a little conditioner in them and got to work! I would love to put them in again but I don't have the motivation to put in a style that takes me about 6-7hrs HTH!!
