My hair has reached bra strap length so I figured it is time to use a good leave in.

What do you people recommend? My hair is natural.
I like when conditioners weigth the hair down, but without being greasy. I also like them affordable!

Organics by Africa's Best Leave in hair Mayonnaise.
It gives great slip and is a great detangler. I don't know what it's like on natural hair, but it's pretty cheap and affordable. It comes in a slim 6oz bottle.

London, you have suckered me in again!!! /images/graemlins/wink.gif I've been eyeing this product for a while, and now i have an excuse to run out and get it!! oh and by the way.. i tried the WGO and ORS carrot oil mix, and it was wonderful, really an improvement.

how long did it take for your hair to grow to your bra strap? I also would like to know if you grease your scalp.

Im natural also. Im just trying to figure out how long mine will take.

I use Aveda Elixer daily leave-in hair conditioner. I got 16 oz for 12.00. It's not cheap but it works good. It's a creamy lotion(not too thick but not thin and watery). It's not a spray on either.

Re: fatima

About 5 years.
I never put anything on my scalp except when I shampoo; I don't grease.

I like WonderGro's Shea Butter leave-in. It's a great detangler and it doesn't weigh the hair down or leave it hard. It also contains extra silicone, so it's great for hair that tends to get frizzy(it only costs about 3 or 4 dollars for an 8 oz bottle). I also like 911/ the one for extra dry hair (it also only costs about 3 or 4 dollars). I really don't like the way my hair feels after using it, but the product does seem to control breaking and shedding. I've tried Infusium 23, and I still use it because I have so much of it left, but I'm really not impressed by it. I meant to post this under sta-sof-fro, but the product is also good to mix with your leave-in conditioner (if you think it makes your hair too hard) because sta-sof-fro does soften your hair and new growth.

Okay that's it!!!!!!!1

I love Biosynthesis BioPhinish. It is creamy like a conditioner and it really does inhibit breakage like nothing I have ever used before. My hair always dries soft when I use it too and it reduces frizz. I got it from Biosynthesis.

Beana you know we might as well say we are hair twins. I haven't used a product that I didn't like which you've mentioned so far. Try it and see it's quite inexpensive you'll either love it or not I like it's detangling properties best.

I'm glad the WGO/ORS tip worked out for you.

I favorite creamy leave-in is Bumble & Bumble Leave-in. My favorite liquid ones are KMS Silker and Ion Anti-Frizz.

My hairstylist recommended "Salerm 21" by Salerm Cosmetica Professional. I just used it for the 1st time yesterday, after using Motions CPR and the combination of the 2 seemed to reduce the shedding I've experienced as the result of my heartbreaking "hair disaster".
