Hi Ladies,
I do not know if any of you know about this line of haircare, but it really is good. My stylist has been using it for about 2 years now, although I normally use Joico.
Anyway, seriously this particular product is like liquid gold for the hair. It is by Therapro and is called Strength...The other one is called Volume. My stylist uses it sometimes on relaxer day and this is good stuff!!
I had a touchup last week and I kid you not, I could probably count the number of strands on one hand that I lost...Plus my hair turned out so soft, strong, and full of volume (after a rollerset). She has used this several times and I always get great results (sorry I can't posts any pix until after April).
It works like this: right after you wash out the relaxer and shampoo to make sure it is all gone, you add a quarter-sized amount of both the Strength and the Volume together for about 2 minutes (no dryer time and no need to follow up with an MC). Afterwards, just do the normal rollerset after you wash these out and you are good to go. My hair is 4a/4b fine and it comes out so full and silky every time we do this regimen. I love it. This product is described as a chemical modifier, so it acts like a reconstructor/protein treatment to reverse any damaging effects and you use it on the same day as your relaxer.
I have also used the saturate shampoo and it is pretty good. This line is also good for fine/thinning hair. It is a really good product and I tend to be on the picky side (especially after LHC). The link for the products is posted below and sorry for the long post:
