Yes To Carrots Mask Vs Yes To Carrots Conditioner

Bumping thread cause I HAVE to give props to the YTC Moisturizing Mask. I think my hair is mostly fine (with some medium) stranded 4a/b. Its low shine, low sheen, and gets frizzy/cottony with manipulation. Much like a cotton ball the strands like to cross one another and tangle often. I had picked up the YTC at Target on clearance couple of weeks ago. Three days ago I did a Aphogee 2 min, followed by a wash with TJ Tea Tree poo, and applied the YTC for about 30 mins b4 washing it out. My hair felt noticeably moisturized after this. I then put in some braids to airdry but ended up with a braidout the next day and a bird's nest of a bun the next 2 days.

Last night I decided to try the YTC again since I had noticed the exp date on it was up and I had already opened it. I sectioned my dry hair in four but didn't bother detangling at all. I let it sit under a plastic cap for 15 mins then (on a whim) used my wide tooth comb in the shower to comb thru each section b4 washing it out. It took less than 10 mins to do and I was even gliding the comb from root to end...that NEVER happens unless straightened. It doesn't provide that slippery feeling like say Aussie Moist but it does moisturize and detangle like a dream. After apllying my leave in my hair has dried soft so I think I've found a new DC.

I think YTC is great I haven't tried the mask but I love the conditioner and regard it has a staple easy to find very moisturizing and makes a great dc and leave in as well.
