ok listen, check this everytime I wash my hair alot of my hair comes out, and when then when I wash the shampoo out it feels all hard and stuff, then when Im coming it out more haircomes out.....what am I to do I cant stop the breakage....everyday my hair comes out and it hurts.....help me!!!

Is your hair dry? Do you have a lot of split ends? What styles do you wear you hair in? Your hair might just be going through a breakage stage. How long has this been going on?

Also, does your hair tangle easily and do you notice more hair coming out when its being combed? what products do you use on your hair? do you deep condition? Do protein treatments? Sorry for bombarding you with so many questions, we just need to find out what you use, and what you could be doing wrong.

What products do you use to wash your hair and condition? In fact, what is your washing routine? What type of comb are you using? Do you wash your hair in the sink or shower?

It does sound like your hair may be very dry, and that is probably why it is hard when you shampoo and after.

If you are not doing it now, try to do a precondition, and untangle your hair with conditioner in it.

Some people precondition by soaking their hair in oil only. Try mixing some EVOO and some cheap conditioner (Suave coconut or Suave clarifying conditioner) then puting it on your dry hair, and leaving it on for 15 mins or longer with a plastic cap. I also like detangling my hair at least a little before I shampoo.

After shampoo, try a deeper conditioner like Lekair or Queen Helene, or conditioner with more slip like Pantene Smooth and Sleek and after you've left it on a while, rinse lightly and untangle with the conditioner in it before your rinse completely.

You can try an apple cider vinegar treatment like Selah's Tangle Buster Routine.

Maybe the shampoo you are using is too harsh for your hair and robs your hair of its natural oils thus causing breakage.

Shree,

All of the above questions, happen to be questions
that entered my mind after reading your post.
What is your hair regimen? (blow for blow)

SUGGESTION:
*Revlon's Creme of Nature Shampoo for Dry, Brittle, or Color-Treated Hair
is a good product for your hair. It detangles your hair as you shampoo.*

ok its me everybody, I was my hair once a week usaully in monday or tuesdays... my hair isnt really dry but it isnt reall moisturised either,I do have my share of split ends but I can never really spot them(any tips) my comb is wide tooth and my brush is the soft bristle kind......usually I roll my hair at night or sometimes I just tie a scarf on it(havent exactly tried the wrap methid, notvery sure on how to use it) I use pert plus and I also use Aussie three minute mircle, but that Is about to change when I use pantene....... I take a multi-vit with lots of protien.....oh and the no heat thing didnt work for me, my hair was a mess with the air drying thing.....well this is it for now....sorry my thoughts areso messed up but Im in a hurry!!!gotta go excersise!!!! yea!!!

I'm thinking DITCH the Pert Plus!!!!! I'm sure that is pretty harsh. Just as a starting point, I would recommend Creme of Nature Ultra Moisturizing Shampoo. It isn;t expenseive at all.

What is your budget becasue I can't really recommend a cheap moisturizing conditioner...I do like these conditioners though: LUST, Mizani Moisturefuse, Pantene Smooth and Sleek, Suave Humectant....

ANd definitely invest in a good leave-in!

I would suggest washing in the shower with a shower comb--it makes combing and detangling SO MUCH easier!!!

Edited to add that Pert Plus has both ammonium lauryl sulfate and ammonium laureth sulfate in the top three ingredients! This is harsh girl!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

is your hair over-processed? My hair was very over-processed from too frequent relaxers and permanent color. whenever my hair was wet, it would break off really bad. It's like I had no elasticity left. I tried protein treatments and that didn't help. I ended up having to wear my hair in braids for awhile to give it a break from the heat and chemicals. I also had to gradually cut off the damaged hair. Now I have little breakage. I still have a long ways to go but I'm well on my way

By the way, you may want to try doing conditioner only washes.

I would say ditch the Pert Plus too! And...Pantene? Have you ever used that before? I can't use that on my 4A hair or my daughter's 4A/B hair, it's also too drying. Concentrate on moisture shampoos and conditioners (for your type of hair)and definitely find a good leave in conditioner. I like KeraCare products myself. Also...have someone help you trim your split ends and wear protective styles for awhile until the breakage stops. Conditioner washes during the week also help.

my stylist said that good leave-ins are great for the hair. She recommended Keracare for me and its great on my hair. It is 22.00 dollars a bottle but...i love it. hth.

I'm wondering if your hair is over processed too. How often do you get your relaxers? Do you get your relaxers pulled all the way through quite often? If its over processed what "Keylogo" said to do is your best way out of it.
