When you go to the BSS to scout out the products you think you might want to buy first but buy nothing because you have to consult the board first by doing a quick search.

When people around you ask if you are BSL or MBL yet.

When you spend hours in the BSS reading the ingredients and directions on products, talking to yourself and trying to remember what board members said about certain products and what the general consensus was.

When you feel absolute contentment and peace wandering around a BSS

Funny I am doing this now - called SO from work - couldn't wait until 5pm.. Told him I was running to the store and would be home after that. Spent an hour in Sally's looking, trying to remember which product I said I would get from reading the boards....jotted down a couple names and left without buying anything.

Get home about 6:30 SO says ummm what did you buy - I was like I went to Sally's - He was "should have known it" I just laughed.... whenever we go to the store - doesn't matter for what we always go to the hair aisle now.

..he says he'll scream if he hears one more thing about hair and about an hour later as I continue to talk about my hair..he starts screaming and proceeds to tell me he's got my work number is going to call my boss and tell him I browse the boards all day at work.

I know I've been on here too much because I notice when certain people are not posting and wonder about them.

I also think about what products/makeup people are having a problem finding and if I happen to find it, I'll PM them and ask them if they want me to pick it up for them and they can pay for it and the shipping through paypal.

Yes, this is me!!! I am notorious for saying one of my friends in ___________ uses that on her hair and it looks great! (well, I DO know how it looks b/c I have stalked her fotki!!!) I find myself saying this when someone that is not the same hair type as me asks for advice. I can immediately think of a member on the board and remember reading a regimen

-^^If not this statement, I slip up and say "the ladies on the board". (I do this quite often when I am trying to share some good tidbit of information that I found here, whether hair related or not, and then the person gets the nerve to ask me where I found out about that at. I have to catch myself and say "this message board I frequent".

-When you log onto LHCF the first thing when you get to work (before checking emails) to skim the topics. I often have my browser open all day and minimized while at work, popping in occasionally to skim through the topics.

-When you start thinking of regimens for people in your head if you happen to see them and their hair is not up to par. (I mean complete strangers)

My boss already knows that LHCF is my fave site. One of my co-workers asked for me to write down the sites name and my reggie so that he can give my tips to other people.

My HAIRSTYLIST asked me to do the very same thing so she can pass the info along to her other customers and stock the products that I use to use on other customers.
