I had a consultation with my braider this morning. I am getting cornrows next week and am looking forward to it. She suggested I use the yaky synthetic for a nicer look. What do you all know about this? Please give me some ideas. Which is better to use?
is there a differece?? /images/graemlins/grin.gif dang jus goes to show i kno nothin bout weaves /images/graemlins/smirk.gif
one thing i kno tho is that wen i had the kanekalon weave last summer it was sheddin like mad /images/graemlins/mad.gif n if that'd been my hair it'd have had me soooo worried /images/graemlins/crazy.gif
Now, I don't know what the real difference between Kanekelon and Yaki is, but I've noticed that Yaki is finer and smoother. My braider doesn't like to use Yaki because it can "slip", kinda like human hair does. I also use Kanekelon because I am transitioning and its coarse texture matches my naps!
