I am interested in getting natural looking cornrows (5 going back) this weekend. I have a few questions
1. Natural or synthetic
2. How often can I wash it?

What kind of hair do I need to achieve a soft natural look?

I think you can use a good quality synthetic hair to achieve a natural look. That type of hair usually costs around $5 or $6 a pack at the beauty supply store. Maybe you can ask your stylist to refer a brand to you.

X-Pressions kanekelon will give you a natural look. I would suggest washing it and doing an ACV soak. To make it softer to mimick relaxed hair you can blow dry it. I personally only keep cornrows in for 2 weeks but no longer than a month.

That's the brand I used! I couldn't remember the name. Thanks for sharing.
