Wudu and black hair?

This is obviously a thread for muslim women who don't wear hijab...what kinds of hairstyles do you maintain considering that wudu requires that we "wet" your heads 5 times a day? Is there any way to maintain a straight look while having to do wudu?

I am a new Muslimah. Do you truly go through the process of making wudu with each salat, wetting your hair truly? At work I'm only able to do dry abolutions (that is if I have any impure thoughts). Seriously, I wish I had an answer for you-so consider this a bump on your topic. I go on Madinah Islam and other sites to find out info. On the weekends I wear hijab. I've been rehearsing how to tell my boss I'd like to wear it to work...
