I LOL'ed when I was reading this description of black hair. I guess I'm so used to websites that mention haircare for "us" being politically correct that it caught me off guard.

The Beauty Pot states:

"Hair relaxers will straighten the Black African American hair, there are different relaxer strengths from mild, regular and super - mild hair relaxer is best used for children, soft, mixed race or first time users, coarse hair relaxer is used for thick black African, nappy afro hair."

:lachen:Somebody is not beating around the bush, lol. I'm not offended, mind you, just not accustomed to websites being so blunt.

mind you that they were half right
people with type 2's and 3's have use super/ regular :lachen:
and if someone with coarse hair used a mild relaxer it would straighten there hair well. you just got to work it in:yep:

which site was this

thebeautypot.com

I came across this site while looking for amla oil that doesn't contain mineral oil. I found some on FNWL, but it was a bit expensive.

I've found dietary grade coconut oil in the vitamin section of Wal-Mart. It comes in a big plastic type jar. If you leave it at room temperature, it instantly melts when you touch it with your fingers. Ask the pharmacist if you can't find it (it will be in that department).
