Ladies, I have uploaded some recent pictures of my hair straightened, and I am amazed. As you can see, I have 3 pictures in my siggy. The first one is of my hair relaxed, when I first found LHCF and started taking care of my hair. My hair was about that length for maybe 4 years. The second picture is 5 months after I BCed, 10 months after my last relaxer. The last picture is 1 year and 9 months after I BCed, 2 years and 3 months after my last relaxer. I don't remember my hair being this long before. I mean 2 YEARS and my hair has grown to a length that's longer that it was after 4 years with a relaxer and weekly heat.

I AM SOOOO EXCITED!!!!! :yep:

I orginally went natural to see if my hair would grow longer than the length in the first picture. With no chemicals and not as much heat, I hoped it would. I planned to wear natural styles until I reach my goal of MBL. But, now I'm excited about my length, so I want to show it more often. But I'm afraid that wearing it straight more often will stop my growth right in its tracks!! :nono:

Either way, I just wanted to share that with you ladies and say THANK YOU because it was late night searches, PMing, and asking questions that got me to where I am. Thanks again!!!

Wow! That's - amazing. And beyond just the length, your hair LOOKS so much lusher and thicker and shinier and healthier! Congrats!

Your hair looks great! I had the same experience as you. Had been trying to reach sl forever, bc'd and went natural and 18 months later I was sl. It's amazing isn't it? I'm texturized now though and so far so good.

Thanks ladies. I have just uploaded new photos into my fotki. Now if I can just get the flat, relaxer like results when I straighten, I'll be good to go. Oh, and of course reach my goal of MBL. I'm not far from APL though!! :yep:

Thanks. That's a bad picture. My relaxed hair usually looked A LOT better than that. Not as thick, but it LOOKED healthy (not sure that it was) and it had shine. That picture is after I had been co-washing everyday, and didn't realize I needed to clarify it to get all of the build-up out of my hair. I was still trying to find a healthy routine.

Great job Ms. T. Don't be afraid of heat if you aren't doing it more than every two weeks and you deep condition regularly.
