Tracy, I'm about like you now in that it's gonna take a WHILE to adjust to this change. Only instead of bronze to black, I've gone brown long hair to short black. Right now it's in a twist out and while the actual style is ok, I'm still in a state of shock and I would perfer to kick some attitude into these locks with a auburn semi permanent color and straight style. So...I have somewhere to be tomorrow and while I can't get the color in there by then, I do want it straight. How long do I have to wait to wash after a relaxer (that was yesterday). Some people have no problem washing the next day, but some say it may strip the relaxer. I REALLY wanna wash it so that I can wet wrap it (I know it'll take forever to dry. I'm gonna have to roll with that). Will it really strip the relaxer?

Nope. I'd been wearing braids for several months

Ok to answer your question with my two cents - I say you can relax as soon as you get home from the salon if you wanted to. But that's me.
