Well, the other night I put some EVOO in my hair because I had planned on washing it that night, and my hair has been SOO effin' dry this winter.
Long story short, I fell asleep with the EVOO in my hair, woke up and had to go out with it still in my hair.
1. It did not smell like Olive Garden
2. My hair, which had been like hay the night before was shiny, dark, and smooth
3. My hair soaked up most of the oil and I wasn't dripping or greasy (thank God...not a good look )
My hair took to the EVOO better than any product I have EVER used other than castor oil...and even the castor oil might be 2nd to the evoo.
My question is, does anyone use EVOO as a leave in?
I'm going to. I've already decided. My hair feels so good. My only thing is, should I add something to it? Just because I didn't smell like Olive Garden yesterday, doesn't mean that I will never smell like it. EVOO does have a smell to it, and I don't want it mingling with my perfume and have people like erplexed . Also, does anyone use it when rollersetting? I'm going to start that on a regular basis too, but I'm picturing my putting EVOO in my hair, rolling it up, sitting under the dryer, and having Mario and Luigi come knocking on my door with breadsticks and spaghetti from the smell of the EVOO "cooking"
Any input would be nice..
Either way, EVOO will be a new staple. a little goes a long way, and it's not THAT expensive
