If you mean the hair lady. she uses Motions Regular lye formula!!!
 
What exactly is her technique? wearing braids?

Ive always admired DSD's hair she has really been growing it all the way out. She is truly a perfect example of "you can have long hair"

Wow Den, Thanks!!! You are truly on the ball. I logged on and saw this thread. I was like, wow she put my pics up! I thought it would take her a long tim to do it. I just recently sent Robin those pics. She is a wonderful lady!

I have been using Robin's braid techniques just about since I joined this board. I found her site first and ordered the braid video. Never in my dreams did I think I could braid my own hair.

It usually takes me about 3 or 4 days about 24 hours to do them. I know it sounds like a lot of time but the results I get make it worth it. I usually put about 6-700 braids in my hair. This is the 4th set I have done myself.

Thanks for your wonderful reply, i couldn't imagine myself doing 6-700 braids, my arms would fall off

like you said it is worth it. Personally this was the only way i could grow my hair long, without the extra manipulation. DSD Good luck, I wish you many more successes

It's looks so good. I was I had those skills. What type of hair did you use?

I can't access C&G because so many people on are it.
 
Congrad DSD those braids look great. Its nice to see ppl trying different methods and having success with them. Ur hair really growing

I don't do it exactly as the hair lady does I sort of modified it to meet my personal specifications.
