Like This?? erplexed If I'm not mistaken I think Willow Smith is natural but it kinda looks like she's transitioning...would you wear your hair like this during the transition? how exactly does one achieve this look??

If I was going out clubbing, I totally would. I would probably blend my two textures with a braid out first. My only reservation would be the amount of hair spray/hair wax needed to achieve this look (which to me looks like a mohawk from the back with a huge bump in the front). I don't like to use hair spray/wax.

Willow is rocking this look though. I just love this little girl; she's doing her thing.

She's nine. It looks 80s punk. In an interview clip I saw her say she likes Billy Idol and maybe that was the inspiration. It's cute for a 9 year old artist, but not necessarily something the rest of us need to ponder.

My feelings exactly. I do think she's adorable and she's doing her thing, but I'm almost 39 years old - no, I wouldn't wear my hair like this...

She's 9 and famous and doesn't have to participate in the corporate world so I say she has nothing to worry about. Would I do it? Probably not because its not cute to me and people would definitely be giving me the serious side-eye.

I wouldn't wear my hair like that. I don't like the style. I'm indifferent to Willow's style choices. I do think she gets a pass. She can do no wrong to some people but if a random non-famous black little girl wore the same clothes, colored weaves, and hairstyles as Willow the same people that are calling Willow creative would call the random little girl "ghetto" and be ready to call the authorities and accuse the mother of child abuse.
