Let's play a game, here are the ingredients:
water, helianthus annuus (sunflower) seed oil, glycerin, beeswax, stearic acid, mangifera indica (mango) seed butter, butyrospermum parkii (shea butter), glucose, aloe barbadensis leaf extract, honey, rosmarinus officinalis (rosemary) leaf extract, tocopherol, xanthan gum, sucrose stearate, sodium borate, caramel, fragrance, glucose oxidase, lactoperoxidase
Would you put this in your hair? I'll reveal the product once I get a few replies.

You know you a PJ when the ingredient listings look more familiar to you than the durn name of the product.

I KNOW those ingredients but i just cant place it. They look THAT familiar.

What is inherently bad about beeswax? I know that it can build up on your hair, but isn't it also used as an emollient and moisturizer?

There was a time when I would have seen that product/ingredients list and definitely think to use it for my hair. I've learned since then. Instead of moisturizing my hair, I KNOW it would dry it out. Trial and error teaches me things. But I'm sure it would work for some and the ingredients look good as far as it being a natural product.

Thanks for the reply. I'm still in the trial and error stage. I haven't found anything that works to keep my hair moisturized.

What specific ingredients from the list do you know to be drying for your hair?

I want to be on point went it come to my knowledge ingredients :yep:, just like the women here on LHCF . No I would not use this product.

the oil, beeswax, possibly the glycerin depending on the climate...

All together it's sure to give me crunchy dry ends before long. I might be able to use it if I were to use a very small amount and not reapply day after day. I'd have to clarify more frequently than I'd like. It just wouldn't be worth it for my hair. But you never know until you try. It might be the best thing for you!

 I'll be honest, the first time I looked at the ingredients, I got to beeswax and said - Nope, nuh-uh. Then I reread them, and thought - hrrrm, maybe.

So. I might. I'd have to hear really good things about it, and I would only use it to seal, or maybe on my twists - mixed with some conditioner to cut the oils and the beeswax. Yick :badidea:

The beeswax and xanthan gum are what threw me for a loop. I wouldnt put those in my hair:nono:. Most of the other ingredients sound good though.

I don't know about the caramel bit. Why? Isn't that, um, candy? And what's with all the sugars in there? Those things are sugar stuffs, right, sucrose and what not? What is the purpose of that?
