working out

hey does anyone know what maintenance products to use while working out. i wanted to avoid hair breakage.
 
The only thing that has worked for me is rinsing or shampooing afterwards cause the sweat(salt) seems to dry my hair and scalp out. When I don't rinse well or shampoo, the next day my scalp itches and my hair sheds.
 
I 2nd what sweetcocoa said. If I get lazy and don't wash my hair the same day of working out, my hair sheds the next day. Its guaranteed.

That's my biggest rule for me to follow: wash the same day that you sweat alot. Apparently its the sweat drying in the hair and scalp that's a big no no if left over night.

Hi Diamond,

I kickbox, YOGA, and body sculpt atleast 5 times a week. I use a little Soft Sheen Breakthru in my hair at night which seems to help. I wash my hair weekly.

Now I am not sure what products you use or how you wear your hair at night, but I think that it is important to have a good hair/scalp oil and tie your hair up at night. /images/graemlins/smile.gif
