I'm a veterinary technician and dog trainer. I work full time at a busy clinic and since I've began MY hair regimen, I've worn it up in a clip. Since I work alot with animals, chemicals, and unfortunately blood, I wanted to have my hair out of the way and protected.
The last clinic I worked at was horrible on the hair. The during cleaning, we used bleach and other chemicals that sometimes filled the air and either dried or frizzed my hair. At the moment I just put alittle Mango Butter/Carrot Oil mixture in my hair for added moisture. Is there something else I could do to make sure the same doesn't happen again? Thanx a Mil!!

I don't know if you would want to do this, but maybe you could put your mixture on your hair and wear a very stylish looking silk scarf on your head.

If you are wearing your hair pull back, you could melt a mixture of jojoba oil and shea butter (you can take a small amount in your hands and they will melt together) and smooth the outer layer of your hair, along w/ some leave-in conditioner. I think this could help coat and protect it. If you can, washing it a bit more frequently to get rid of any toxins that might have settled on the outside of your hair.
I'm sure others can contribute w/ some really good ideas
