I was on Honeyfig.com and saw ghair combs. Also I was on Widu.com and saw wooden combs. Both from what I've read are supposed to be better than plastic combs. I'm interested in reviews for these combs. Thanks

the ghair combs looks great! I hear that seamless combs are just better for less breakage. i guess that would apply to wooden as well....bumping

Update: I got a wooden comb and brush with wooden quills from The Body Shop http://thebodyshop.com/bodyshop/bro...Navigation-_-Hair-Brushes&categoryId=cat30050 and I got 2 ox horn combs from an ebay seller http://stores.ebay.com/jmk-usa . I love them all!!!:yep:

I have Madora, Kent and Mason Pearson bone and tortoise shell combs. I love them all.

I saw some wood combs at Marshall's and the teeth were splintering. Those splinters would be worse on the hair than a regular seamed comb. :nono:

Maybe that particular brand was just cheap. To be safe, I would stick with a bone or tortoise shell comb.

Yeah those were probably cheaply made combs. I purchased some wooden combs from www.prettylikeme.com that turned out to be total crap!! The one from The Body Shop is very smooth...no grooves or splinters where the hair can get caught. It's really nice. I wanted a widu but those combs were too much.
