Women Cheating worse than a Man Cheating

I'm curious about this. I just watched a radio interview of a guy breaking up with his girlfriend, who he was going to propose to, on air because she cheated on him. This just made me wonder about the stories we know personally or have heard.

Even in the entertainment section, a man can cheat on a woman often and even have an outside baby, but it is almost expected that she'll for give him, but if a woman cheats once many men have no tolerance for that.

I personally think that the 'when a woman cheats, it is worse' sentiment is used as an excuse mainly by and for men. Fact is Cheating is wrong regardless of who it is.

Cheating is wrong regardless of who does it. However, men are not as emotionally equipped to handle it. Very few men can forgive their woman for cheating. I knew of a man that had his wife cheat on him. She left him to be with the other man. Got pregnant by her new man. The DH still loved her. The DH painted the spare bedroom in their house a violet color for the new "bundle of joy." She was having a girl. He wooed his wife back and they have been together ever since. The other dude lost his mind and has never been the same since. Rare, rare, rare story. But it all depends on the man.

Most men are selfish in regards to cheating. It's okay for them but woe unto the woman that would do it to them. I just recently saw in some section of the forum a man beat his girlfriend up and was arrested for a dream he had of her cheating on him.

Part of me thinks it has to do with the ownership some men feel of their women. If she with him, she's theirs.

Also, the ego portion of it. But with men it's always, boys will be boys and women being blamed for men stepping out.

I just wish women held men to the standard men hold women in regards to cheating. We all can think of numerous cases of a man cheating repeatedly and a woman taking him back each time.

Yes. He actually lost his relatives over his decision. They were disgusted at his level of forgiveness. The couple had their own child about 4 years later. He said he didn't want "their daughter" to feel like the second child was his favorite when the truth comes out later on.

My SO had a dream I cheated on him and he was pissed when he woke up.

DH was the same. He was side eyeing me all morning for no reason and when he came home from work he was over it but told me about the dream.

I don't think it's worse for one gender versus the other to cheat and thankfully, DH agrees. I've heard men express that it's worse for a woman to cheat. I think it's the "boys will be boys" crap and the belief that when women cheat it's emotional. Women can have detached sex just like men. Men just don't want to believe it. They presume they are all special to every woman .

Cheating is wrong period but men make it seem like if a woman cheats then it is worse than a man. My friend's SO was so convinced she cheated after they had a big fight & she went to stay with her family friend "a guy". He's a pastor by the way, told his friends, family & bishop. She was pregnant at the time, when she gave birth the child came out looking exactly like him. Well it was too late, his friends never called her or helped her. She was devastated.

So sometimes when the guy says she cheated, does he have prove? Or he's just insecure.

That has to do with their egos. They don't consider a man cheating as bad because men aren't expected to be able to control themselves anyway.

IMO, it's a reflection of the nonsense all of us are fed about what men "can't" handle and how women are held to a higher standard (which includes forgiveness to a fault).

I do think a woman cheating is worse....not in a technical viewpoint, but I get it.

For a woman to cheat, we (from what ive seen) usually do think it through/weight it out beforehand or have a deeper reason than "he turned me on". Men dont usually put as much thought into it for one reason or another.... probably because of how much it is excused, expected to an extent, how easily they get turned on, etc... Again, only from what ive seen.

When a woman does it, it is typically such a shock for a man mentally bc i dont think most are prepared mentally for that possibility....i can see how it feels worse even though it technically isnt.

I think guys are as forgiving of cheating as long as the whole world doesn't know they were cheated on. They mainly care about how it looks to others in my experience. Men are not discreet so everyone tends to know when a woman has been cheated on.

It's worse when a man cheats because a woman usually has better reasons and often a purpose beyond just getting an orgasm Kidding, kidding, neither is worse.

I think the average woman is smarter at it than the average man. And due to the expectation that a woman wouldnt cheat or wouldnt be able to do it well, men arent as likely to see that as an option for women. Female cheaters are worse only if by worse you mean smarter and detail oriented

I have a couple of friends who cheated just for some better peen...no strings, no emotions.

Couldn't be me but some women are built that way I guess.
