What should I do to protect my hair from the cold???

I have short natural 3b/c hair. It is not quite long enough to put in a ponytail...I therefore cannot do the baggie method or bun it up. It will be there by January but what am I to do until then?

I usually CW daily but with it being so cold I don't want to do that every day...

The only problem is that when I wake up my hair is a HOT mess! Which is another reason why I CW in the mornings...

I don't have to patience to twist my hair or braid my hair up at night to maintain...and even if I did it doesn't work because my hair still comes out looking a mess!

Misting with water doesn't work--it needs to be fully wet to redo my curly style...

Should I just get micros? The only problem with micros is that I can't make them last more than 3-4 weeks--no matter WHAT i do...

What should I do?

try a sew in they give you the same protection as micros with less put in and take down time i am about to get one maybe next week but the last one braided my hair to tight and i did not like that so i am looking for some else to do it
