Will I Get Heat Damage?

Sorry to bother, I finished flat ironing one side of my head and had to run out to do an unplanned errand for my mother. I probably won't get back home till 10 or so. Can I pick up on the other side where I left off or do I need to risk weighing down my hair and add more heat protectant to that side that's already blow dried etc before I start again? Thanks. I used tresemme spray before blow out and serum afterward before flat ironing.

You can just pick up where you left off. The heat protectant will still be on your strands, but you can add a bit more to be on the safe side.
