Will a vertical braid pattern work to put my weave into a ponytail??

Hi Ladies,

I think I'm going to do my weave today/tomorrow? I'm planning on doing vertical cornrows (braids going straight back) and leaving out the sides. Will this braid pattern work to allow me the versatility to put the hair into ponytail when I want to?

I really need this flexibility since it's so hot.

Let me know...

I would think that the circular pattern might be best. But maybe someone else would know. I'm not a weave queen. I wish I was.

It really has nothing to do with the pattern that you put your cornrows in when you want to wear a ponytail with a weave. You have to leave some of the nape area out before you braid.

I agree. You just have to leave hair out to cover the tracks and braids.
