Wild growth Oil

i think your own concoction of essential and carrier oils will do just as good on your hair plus you will NOT have to deal with the smell and the expense!

if you wanna try it anyways theres certainly no harm in it, its a good product and very rich so it lasts. once you have used up the bottle YOU can make up your own re-fill and fill up the bottle (good design for oiling the scalp directly with lil mess), using the ingredient list as your guide

(check out AmilLions post on 'carrier oils' and 'essential oils')

Some people say it is a good product and some people don't like it. The problem I had with it was that when I used it, my hair started shedding badly! /images/graemlins/smile.gif There are many on this forum that swear by it. You are basically going to have to try it to see if it works for you because you just might like it.

I read that thread that you were talking about and I plan on trying the eo's, I just ordered them online a few minutes ago, we will see how it works. Thanks

I have to say that I have tried every hair growth portion that there is in this world

Kaminomoto Hair growth accelerator (It does actually make the scalp healthier but no increased growth for me)

African pride (Some people like the smell but I couldn't take it. Smells a little like a number 2 /images/graemlins/smile.gif after two days. )

Wild growth oil (By the time I got to this one I was disillusioned. I didn't like the greasy feeling that stayed on and the build up that I got with it. It didn't grow my hair like the ad said it would)

londongirl3,

Wildgrowth doesn't stimulate growth, but helps retain growth through moisture and helps soften hair for easier blow-outs, presses, and sets. No hair oil or grease will make your hair grow longer (unless we start talking about essential oils like rosemary that can help stimulate growth), but most products I don't care what kinda Super-Gro label it has will not grow your hair.

The WGO was probably greasy because too much was used. Londongirl, you need only a little drop of it as it is VERY concentrated. I found 1 drop could easily moisturise many ends of my hair. It's that rich. A keeper for me, bad smell and all.

I have proved to myself without any doubt that no product will grow your hair. I wouldn't buy any hair growth portions under that pretext now but I did for awhile when I was experimenting.

The advertisement in the magazine did actually say that Wild growth oil will stimulate the scalp and encourage stronger hair growth. I didn't get any of that.

If someone uses it for something else, like pressing, I wouldn't object. I wouldn't recommend it for hair growth.

I love this stuff. It makes my hair really soft and moisturized. It works better for me the first two days after I wash my hair - by the third day, it will just make my hair look gummy. But it's also a keeper for me. The smell really doesn't bother me.
