I used to use WGO a lot. I would use it on my wet hair post shampooing and after applying my leave-in. I found the smell to be less noticeable when apply to wet hair. I don't like the thought of using something that doesn't have the ingredients listed so I don't us it as much.
The last time I stretched out my relaxer it helped to keep my new growth soft and manageable.

Have you ladies that don't like it used it on your hair while wet?
I love using this stuff right after I wash my hair, it makes it sooo soft and moisturized.

Ditto. This is how I use WGO, too. The smell dissipates when used on wet or damp hair

YUP! I love WGO it's great for new growth... I've never used it on dry hair, only wet/damp...
Well, well after reading through all the Spanish and other languages on the back of the bottle there is, in English, the contents: Olive oil, jojoba oil, coconut oil, Vita D, choline, inostol, iron, magnesium, phosphorous, calcium, natural color, fragrance.
Thanks EbonyF! I don't have to give up one of my favs after all.
The ingredients are listed on the WGO bottle you just have to look a little closer. If I am not mistaken (I don't have the bottle0, it contains olive oil, jojoba oil , castor oil and a couple of other ingredients look closely at the bottle I think it is after you read the directions in the different languages.
I think WGO is great. I read a couple of reviews and everyone said it "stank!". So I expected it to smell like hot garbage but it isn't bad and it keeps my hair moist. I love it on damp hair and it isn't too bad on dry hair or on my ends. Give it a try, buy it from Sally's. If you don't like it you an return it as long as you have your receipt.
The smell doesn't bother me, I only use it during air dry time and it makes my hair very soft and silky. I'm currently on my thrid bottle. Nothing makes my hair feel so good. That oil is a staple for me. Nothing compares.
^^^ I've mixed in peppermint oil to help. I used to use a mix of WGO, pepp oil, and coconut oil to grease scalp when I would was infrequently. I just recently went back to WGO as a weekly hot oil scalp treatment. Idk about it and growth but it's great for new growth/ natural hair.
