This isn't a new comcept. People become addictions and if you're prone to addictions and transferring addictions, it's only worse. It takes a while to break it and/or transfer it on to the next one.

She said that traditional relationships weren't working out for her...idk. I understand that she is protectove of her relationship, but if you put it out there, people will discuss. Her bf sounds detached. That's just IMO. I feel like she's just settling for another kind of relationship, where he cheats and tells you about it
