I would just continue to use your oils on that spot, it should be okay in a few days. You shouldn't cut it. It's formed a scab around your hair and as you know, scabs fall off. It'll fall off faster due to the oils you put on it. Don't cut it or try to comb it, because you don't want to break your hair. I've had this same issue.
