Why the heck my scalp started to itch yeaterday?

I haven't changed hair products, my hair isn't dry and it's just itching , not terribly but I never scratch this often. What can it be? I was thinking a mosquito bite but it's not in one spot it just be random different places. I wash every week and I don't get itching from new growth either like some claim to get on here.

Do you have oil or other product on your scalp. Something might be irritating you. Wash your hair with a shampoo with a soothing fragrance - mint or lavender, etc. That should take care of it.

I have castor oil but the day before i applied it starting itching. And I was trying to hold out for a full week which would be Monday, I sure can't wait to wash
