Omg! And it itches sooooooooooo. bad! Now I have been getting Braids since I was a kid. There is something different about this hair! I only used it cuz it is already sectioned but I gotta take this mess out!

I have kinky twist hair in now...and i ALWAYS do a hot vinegar soak and rinse on the hair, before i install them....this removes the alkaline base that causes dryness and itching....Im not sure what you can do now that you have installed them, but maybe you could try a heavily diluted vinegar rinse?...Im not sure if that would make YOUR hair dry but maybe if you dilute it enough it wont. HTH

I love my kinky twists and for some reason the only hair I don't have trouble with in terms of itching is Nafy Collection kinky hair. If I use others I do as LightEyedMami said give them a diluted vinegar bath, rinse, them them dry and then install.

I agree with doing the vinegar soak. I used to use apple cider vinegar added to water on any synthetic hair (like kanekalon) for a few hours beforehand and then dried it overnight. The times I neglected doing this, my scalp would get much worse very quickly and it was all down to the hair.

Thanks everyone!!! I will know better next time! I haven't had this problem with other hair, just this kinky hair!!! Well, u live and u learn! :ohwell:

I had the same issue with another type of hair. They had the hair there at the shop so there was no soaking. I tried a ACV rinse, dunking my head in a bucket of the stuff. I didn't work. I had to take them out so I took the day off of work. :ohwell:
