Why is the Search Feature Still Not Functioning Properly??

Whenever I do a search for something I only get really old topics and really recent topics. I get stuff from like 2003 and anything AFTER the last time the board went down. I submitted a trouble ticket on this and have still gotten no response. Mods, do you know what the issue is?

I posted a thread about this recently too. Still hasn't been fixed and still no reply. I thought it was only me.

The last time I was searching for something I had to go PAGE BY PAGE through the archives to find what I was looking for. I was very annoyed to say the least.
