Why Is It So Hard To Find A 100% Solid Ceramic Flat Iron?!

If you have any lists of some that are 100% solid ceramic, please list them below. If you didn't already know, the ones that say ceramic flat irons are just coated with some ceramic on metal and are not solid ceramic and once they burn off the metal is exposed and burns your hair. It has to say 100% solid ceramic. Thanks in advance!

My runway was $350+ back in 2009.

It died in 2013 after being dropped 1 too many times and then I purchased a Platform last year.

Platforms are not 100% ceramic but they work fine and cost much less than the Runway.

i looked into this awhile ago because i noticed the same thing.

i bought a karmin flat iron for just under 200 dollars. i did notice it helped with frizzing. i flat ironed with the karmin and then did a touch up with a different flat iron and noticed the second flat ironed sections got REALLY FRIZZY compared to the karmin sections! my hair didnt revert as much.

i actually got the wrong one and didnt feel like exchanging it (i got pure ceramic and wanted to switch to the ceramic tourmaline but the order had already gone through) so i feel like i cant endorse it fully since i didnt get the product i wanted. i also would NOT recommend buying directly from the karmin website because they never responded to my inquiries and i wasnt able to switch products before it shipped out. **** them.

i had my hair straightened with a FHI and it's pin straight so i might consider that one next. honestly the reason why i cant get salon quality straightness at home is because i dont blowdry, so i would say the flat iron on its own will only get part of the job done - you need a good blowout with a good dryer in order for bouncy silky straight results.

e: after looking at the pictures, i think it was the platform that my hair was straightened with because it had red plates.

FHI with red plates and a blowdryer that looked like the sedu revolution (by the way this is after i realized my hair was cut, trying to see if i could hide that by putting a track in the middle )

True, I'm just looking for the healthiest plates for hair. I'm all about health when it's my hair and doing others as well. When doing other people's hair, I always blow dry their because I have no choice but to. I'm also looking for a great blow dryer currently because I have what was in my cosmetology kit and I'm trying to upgrade my stuff. But I research the crap out of the stuff to get the styling tools that keep the hair healthier and has the hair looking good and frizz free and 100% ceramic is the best
