Why does my hairline grow so slowly? Is there a way to speed it up?

My hair grows really fast besides my hairline... For instance, in about two months I have at least 2" of newgrowth and my nape has probably 3". But the front barely has 1"! What am I doing wrong?

I can tell it's not that much because when my hair starts growing out and there isn't that much natural hair, I have like tight corkscrews. But once it gets around 1" my hair gets wavy and the waves get bigger and bigger with length. So at the moment everything isn't one texture. Everything but my hairline is wavy.

going natural and megassaging brought mine back a little quicker but it's still really slow growing.
