Ok, I was wondering what makes MTG work well for most people. What is in it exactly?

ekomba said:Hey Chica_canella it s mainly the sulfur in it that s why many people make their own concoctions. Madam CJ Walker used to make all her growth potions with a lot of sulfur, same thing in the msm. The cade oil in the mtg is also known to grow hair but its mostly the sulfur.![]()
And keep in mind girl sulfur is made of amino acids which are known to grow hair so basically sulfur and any form of it will grow your hair ( be it sulfur coming from marine protein, shellfish... or msm which is another form of sulfur

seraphinelle said:Just wanted to correct you here, sulfur is an element on its own. Basically the reason sulfur is so important in hair and nails is that it makes the individual polypeptide chains (chains of amino acids) stronger with each other.
Also the more sulfur bonds you have the more curly your hair is.
Relaxing breaks down the sulfur bonds which is how you get straight hair.
