Why does conditioner just mess it up??

Why does conditioner just mess up the detangling process. I washed my hair last night and I am battling this newgrowth. I use design essentials shampoo and my hair felt great. So smooth and moisturized and no tangles. As soon as I put conditioner in though, it just gets messed up. No matter what kind I use and no matter which way I apply it, conditioners with alot of newgrowth just mess me up. Can I just pre-poo and shampoo and call it a day?

if you pre-poo, then i don't see why you can't skip the conditioner.

If that works for you, just pre-poo and poo. It seems that you have found what works for you.
