Why do you think are hair is various textures on 1 head?

Just in a reflective mode today and was wondering to myself why in the world my hair is different textures. The back and sides are curly/coily. The crown and front bang area is wavy/crinkly and straight Does anyone know scientifically why our heads have 2+ textures or does anyone have a logical explanation? Whatcha think?

Sorry I have nothing to add but this is interesting. I remember one friend I grew up with who was mixed had course hair at the front like her dad with a back section that was really straight and a different colour

I think it's just a matter of how the follicles are set into the scalp. I mean, our skin ain't the same color all over our body, our hair isn't the same all over our body, why would it be the same all over our head?
